Day out with Nana and Poppop

Gabriel and I spent a good chunk of the afternoon with Nana and Poppop, Gabriel's great grandparents. They had cleaned up the Radio Flyer wagon that I rode in as a kid and we took Gabe around the yard picking flowers and playing around. We had a great time.

I read an interview article with Jay Maisel where he talked about getting out there to shoot for yourself, and to concentrate on color and composition. I shot some today just for that purpose...

Okay, so I know I'm quite late on this one, but here goes anyway. We went on a cool trip to the Norfolk zoo with the fam for the CHKD dept of pediatrics annual picnic/zoo day. When Gabe went the last time, he was about 2 weeks old, so I think he enjoyed himself a lot more this time...

Strawberry Picking

My Aunt Mary and I took my son strawberry picking out in Pungo for the first time, and he had a blast. I sortof turned him loose in the field and followed to see what he would get into, this kid loves him some strawberries...
